The Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges and Public Petitions has aborted the screening of former Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, as a minister.
Chairman of the committee, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, informed the Senate that the document of the petition towards Amaechi’s nomination as minister is not ready yet.
Anyanwu noted that when you consider that of the screening pastime on Tuesday, the committee was not able to place the record collectively.
Senate President, Bukola Saraki, mandated the committee to be certain that the document is ready on Thursday.
